【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequirementsforflamearrestersthatpreventflametransmissionwhenexplosivegas-airorvapour-airmixturesarepresent.Itestablishesuniformprinciplesfortheclassification,basicconstructionandinformationforuse,includingthemarkingofflamearresters,andspecifiestestmethodstoverifythesafetyrequirementsanddeterminesafelimitsofuse.ThisInternationalStandardisvalidforpressuresrangingfrom80kPato160kPaandtemperaturesrangingfrom-20~Cto+150~C.NOTE1Indesigningandtestingflamearrestersforoperationunderconditionsotherthanthosespecifiedabove,thisInternationalStandardcanbeusedasaguide.However,additionaltestingrelatedspecificallytotheintendedconditionsofuseisadvisable.Thisisparticularlyimportantwhenhightemperaturesandpressuresareapplied.Thetestmixturesmightneedtobemodifiedinthesecases.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletothefollowing:--externalsafety-relatedmeasurementandcontrolequipmentthatmightberequiredtokeeptheoperationalconditionswithintheestablishedsafelimits;NOTE2Integratedmeasurementandcontrolequipment,suchasintegratedtemperatureandflamesensorsaswellaspartswhich,forexample,intentionallymelt(retainingpin),bumaway(weatherhoods)orbend(bimetallicstrips),iswithinthescopeofthisIntemationalStandard.--flamearrestersusedforexplosivemixturesofvapoursandgases,whichtendtoself-decompose(e.g.acetylene)orwhicharechemicallyunstable;--flamearrestersusedforcarbondisulphide,duetoitsspecialproperties;--flamearresterswhoseintendeduseisformixturesotherthangas-airorvapour-airmixtures(e.g.higheroxygen-nitrogenratio,chlorineasoxidant,etc.);--flamearrestertestproceduresforinternal-combustioncompressionignitionengines;--fastactingvalves,extinguishingsystemsandotherexplosionisolatingsystems;--flamearrestersintegratedorcombinedwithexplosion-protectedequipment,suchasblowers,fans,compressorsandpumps.
