【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesthebasisfordevelopingtheperformance-basedFailureReviewBoard(FRB),whichisagroupconsistingofrepresentativesfromappropriateprojectorganizationswiththelevelofresponsibilityandauthoritytoassurethatrootcausesareidentifiedandcorrectiveactionsareeffectedinatimelymannerforallsignificantfailures.AlthoughgoodengineeringpracticesuggeststhatmostproductdevelopmentprojectsshouldincludeaformalFRB,thebasicFRBfunctionsmaydevolvetoasingleindividualonsmallprojects.Planningandreportingrequirementsandanalytictoolsareprovidedforcontractors.
